In
“Turn Yourself In” is a new feature to the Indiegrrl website.
Performing Members are encouraged to “Turn Themselves In”
to Indiegrrl to let us know what exciting news, accomplishments, awards,
or major performances they are experiencing in their music careers. This
is a great way to connect, keeping their fans, the general public, and
their fellow Indiegrrl peers, up to date on what is happening in their
lives. These posts will change every other month keeping you up to date
on what is happening with Indiegrrl Performing Members.
Tiffany Petrossi was entered
in the "Best New Artist" Grammy category for her 2005 release,
"Sweet Groove" and will be attending the 48th Grammy awards

Tracy Jane Comer has had a remarkable year following
the release of her second album “Quietly There”. She received
double nominations by the 2005 Madison Area Music Awards as “Best
Acoustic Artist” and “Best Acoustic Album” and was honored
three times by VH-1’s Song of the year International songwriting
Contest. Tracy had a song featured on MTV’s reality show “MADE”
and was thrilled to be invited to open a series of tour shows for Willy

Mary Sue Twohy third album CD release “Songs
from Songs to Hang on Stars” has already placed the semi finals

Julie Clark has been chosen as the “Featured
Performer” at the Third Annual “Equality Virginia Commonwealth
Dinner”, to be held on Saturday 4/8/06. Passionate about politics,
Julie feels very honored to be the only musical performer at this spectacular
event, which is Virginia’s largest gala fundraiser to support GLBT
rights in the Commonwealth. Former U.S. Senator Charles Robb will be the

Vicki Blankenship just received
an announcement from "The Community Spirit Awards" in Wilmington,
NC where she has been nominated for "Outstanding Community Entertainer
of the Year Award" and her company Spotted Kiva Productions just
received a nomination for "Outstanding Community Business of the
Year" with its involvement in supporting the awareness and growth
in the LGBT Community in New Hanover County and Wilmington, NC.
Rachel Harrington won second
place in the Gig Harbor Folk Festival songwriting competition in September
2005 for her song, Blow, a romp through the western landscape that details
the life of train robber Bill Minor. She was honored to perform at the
festival with David Wilcox, Lucy Kaplansky, David Lindley and many other
respected artists. Rachel is currently in the studio recording her debut

the weekly Arts and Entertainment magazine of The Recorder (Greenfield
MA) on Dec.29, 2005. She was also selected to be featured on the main

Vicki Genfan brought in producer,
Ian Melrose from Germany to help her complete her new CD. They recorded
at the SHED in NYC with engineer/co-producer, Tay Hoyle. Got 22 tracks

has given me a brand new Acoustic Jumbo guitar to give away in a raffle

Vicki Genfan was
also invited to teach at the Swannanoa Gathering, an incredible music
camp in Asheville, N.C. where she got alot of inspiration from all the
talent and great music there. She also got a chance to play for one of
her guitar idols, Leo Kottke and was allowed to visit him in the 'green
room' before his show in Montclair, NJ. In January 2006 she performed
at the NAMM trade show in Anaheim Ca. with 7 of the 'La Guitara' CD ladies.
The performance will be part of a documentary being done on the groundbreaking
project.
